Even if the farmers around the world have done a record crop it is too late for the poor countries. The stock of rice and other basic food have not been this low for over 25 years.
In some countries in Africa it has been riots to get basic things like bread and rice and some expert’s say that this and the global warming and climate change can actually lead to governments will be overthrown.
The problem is now that even if this year was very good the farmer does not have money yet to invest in new machines and inventory to make farming more affiant.
Another big problem is that many formers have gone from growing food to bio fuel.
